The Great Autoship Debate

Category : Autoship, Network Marketing

When you see an ad on television or in a magazine of some celebrity endorsing a product that you know they don’t use themselves, how does that make you feel? Does that give you confidence in that product, or even confidence in that celebrity?

Do you then trust that celebrity to recommend and promote products to you that you know they are just getting paid to endorse? Probably not.

How would you feel if you went into a clothing store to buy some new clothes, but there were no clothes on the racks? You find out that in order to buy from that store, you would have to purchase the items based on the verbal description of the owner.

Would you buy any clothes from that store? Not likely.

What about if you went to see a new doctor who was just setting up his office. You are ushered into a exam room by the nurse, and you notice there are no exam tables or medical tools. You ask what’s up, and the nurse says that the doctor is waiting until they have a few more patients before buying the equipment because they’re in business to make money, not spend it.

Would you stick around for your exam? I doubt it.

All of these scenarios paint the picture of how a lot of Network Marketing Businesses Owners think. What they don’t realize is that Product Inventory and Supplies are part of the cost of doing business.

How can you fulfill Your Network Marketing Obligation by recommending and promoting a product you don’t even use? How will anyone ever believe you if you don’t have personal experience using the product? If you’re in a Health and Wellness Company, how can you expect someone to buy your product without trying it first? Would you? Did you?

The beauty of Network Marketing is the low overhead cost. Now note that I said “Low,” I didn’t say “Zero.” Product Inventory/Samples are really our only cost of doing business. I can’t think of any other business entity that only cost less than $500 to begin and less than $200 per month to operate.

I heard a good statement the other day;

“When you treat your Network Marketing Business like a business, it will begin to pay you like a business.”

I totally agree with that statement because when you treat it any other way, it will pay you like, uh, well, it won’t pay you at all.

In Network Marketing your autoship is your cost to do business. It is not an optional expense for those who are serious about making money. When you decide that you are going to treat your home business like a business, you will treat your monthly autoship like a required business expense. If you are working your business correctly, you will likely use up almost all of your products EVERY Month anyway!!

Another factor that you should consider is that the members on your team will follow your lead. If you commit to a monthly autoship, your team members will more than likely do the same. You set the tone for your team by your actions and your mindset.

An abundance mentality sets the stage for your abundance without the fear of investing in your future. A lack mentality does just the opposite.

Another factor you might not have considered is that just by committing to your monthly autoship, you will committ to the behavior needed in the day to day operations of your business, because you now have “Financial Motivation” to get out there and recommend and promote the products. It moves from thought to action.

Here’s something to think about; The way you make residual or recurring income in Network Marketing is by moving product volume consistently month after month. If you’re not willing to be part of moving that volume, maybe you should stick to buying lottery tickets. Your odds of getting rich that way are better.

Tip: Get with your upline to figure out the best products to buy for both yourself and to sample. I’m sure they’ve figured out the least expensive bang for your buck.
