I just found a really cool WordPress Plugin that you can use to bring all your Social Profiles to one location i.e. either left or right side of your blog pages in a floating manner, saving your sidebar or footer space for ads or other important data and widgets.

Great plugin, it does save a lot of space. Just have to know where to put them, because I’ve seen some sites that used it poorly by blocking some parts of the article which can be annoying.
